MISSING FRIENDS.

With a view to further increasing the itility of the Neyv Zealand Mail, the Editor has decided to introduce a new feature in the shape of a Missing Friends’ column, in which will be published the names of persons for whom their friends aro enquiring in tlie Home weeklies. Enquiries from persons in New Zealand and in the Australian Colonies for information of missing friends will be inserted in this column at the rate of Is for each insertion.

HUNTER (ALEXANDER WILLIAM), aged 28, horn in New Zealand, sailed fro n there as quartermaster of the steamer Matatua two years ago for London; subsequently leaving Cardiff in the County of Inverness for tho Mauritius and Bremerhaven.
