THE BRUNNER DISASTER.

A cheque for AMS Os, the total subscriptions at Hamua (Forty-mile Bush) for tho Brunner Fund, has been received at the New Zealand Times office, with the following letter :

At a meeting of the Auckland Committee of the Brunnorton Relief Fund, it was decided to telegraph to the Dunedin Committee to ascertain if they luid paid their money to the Public Tiu-tee, and tin; .Mayor was authorised, if the reply was in the affirmative, to pay over the Auckland money to the same official.
