At the usual weekly meeting of the AVoir.on’s Social and Political League last Alonday, it was proposed by Mrs T. K. Macdonald, seconded by Mrs Harvey, and carried, “ That the Women's .Social and Political League desires to place upon record its deep regret at the death of Sir Patrick Buckley, K.C.M.G., who for so many years held a foremost position as a Liberal leader in the Legislature of tho Colony, and the League also tenders to Lady Buckley its eincero sympathy and condolence on her sad bereavement.”
