THE CHAMPIONSHIPS, At the Intercolonial Lawn Tennis Meeting, in Sydney, in tho Men's Singles Kico beat Parker by three sets to one, and Dewhurst boat Hooper by three to one. In the Doubles, Kidston and Claxland beat Parker and Collins by three to two, and Windoycr and Colquhoun beat Gore and Hooper by three to love. In the Ladies' Doubles Misses Nunnolcy and Woolnough beat Misses Mackenzie and Keele by two to love. In the Men's Double Handicap, Collins and Gore beat Mackenzie and Fox by two to love. Tho Mixed Doubles led to a great struggle between Dunlop and Miss Howitt, the Victorian champions, and Parker and Miss Nunneley. When each had scored a game, and seven all was called in the decisive game, darkness put an end to the match. The most interesting match of the Tournament on Thursday was certainly the mixed doubles, which was re-played after being partially completed theprovious day. The New Zealand'ers, Parker and Miss Nunneley, won by two sets, tho score being 14 to 8. Miss Nunneley played a dashing game. The winning pair were next matched again it Mackenzie and Miss Mackenzie, representing New South Wales, but tliey had an easy victory, winning the first two sets, equal to 12 games to 5. In the Men's Handicap Singles, Grossman beat Parker, two sets to one. In tho Men's Double Handicap, Goddard and Strickland beat Gore and Collins, two to love. In the Ladies' Singles, Miss Nunneley beat Miss Dransfield, two to love. In the Mixed Doubles, Parker and Miss Nunneley beat Dewhurst and Miss Dransfield by 2 to love. The other New Zealand players have now been all knocked out of the tournament. On Saturday Miss Nunneley beat Miss Leo in tho Ladies'"Singlca Handicap by two to one. In tho Open Singles Miss Nunneley met Miss M. Shaw, tho lady champion of New South Wales, and defeated her by two to love. In the Intercolonial Doubles Miss Shaw and Colquhoun beat Miss Nunneley and Parker by two to one. 'The dashing play of the New Zcalandors in the Intercolonial Doubles was loudly applauded, especially that of Miss Nunneley, who at times electrified the spectators with her brilliant strokes. Although tho visitors got away with tho start, the local pair rapidly gained on them. Tho analysis of the sets shows that New South Wales won Li giuies, and New Zealand 15. In the last set 12 games were played before tho victory was gained.
