When the load i.s placed over the hind wheels of a wagon it draws 10 per cent, easier than when it is placed over the front wheels. Higher front wheels reduce draught. The change of the angle of draught as applied from the end of the pole varies the draught, also tho distance between the front and rear wheels. A long draught, or such as occurs when leading horses are used, increases the weight of the pull on account of tho angle of the draught.
