OLD BOYS.

The Old Boys of the Wellington College hold their annual meeting nt tho Kxohange liuildings last week. Mr J. P. Firth warmly congratulated tho boil secretary and treasurer, Messrs A. M. Stuart, mid 15. A. Whiteombc. Mr A. de B. Brandon, an " old boy," referred with pleasure to tho continued success of the old school tinder the management of Mr birth. (Applause.) Mr Brandon said that if the school was not the best in New Zealand, it was one ol the best. TII2 report was adopted. The committee was instructed in tho future not to bring unpaid subscriptions into the balance-sheet, and empowered to strike off the list any member whoso subscription shall be two years in arrears. Tho election of officers resulted as follow : Hon. secretary, Mr A. M. Stuart; lion, treasurer, Mr B. A Whiteoinbe; committee, _ Messrs A de B. Brandon, A. Young, K. Giescn, J. P Firth, M. F. Luckio, J. A. Tripe, W. Blunrlell, W. R. Bothnne. H. T. Richardson, I'.. A. Meek ; auditor, MrT. Young Tlse committee was instructed to vote a sum of not exceeding £lO toward the creation of a fbg-polo and flag in front of the College. It was decided that the annual supper tare place at the College on Wednesday, I tu instant, and to hold an annual ball a* usual. A hearty vote of 1 hanks was awarded to Messrs Stuart and Whitcoinbe. At a meeting of the committee, -Mr Firth was elected chairman for the year, and a committee consisting ol Messrs Luckio, Bothnne and Meek was appointed to carry out tho arrangements in connection with the
