There is a curious coincidence in the fact that the Thurso, the pioneer timber barque, and tho CoromandeJ, the pioneer coal barque, from Wcslpoit, should both be driven ashoro there. Tin; Thurso went ashore sonic timo ago, and had to lie blown up by tho V/ellinglon Torpedo Corps.
