Tho exhibition billiard mutch puiyed at the Albert Hotel last week b-taveen Weiss (the. Australian champion) and .Shipton, of Wellington, attracted a largo attendance. Shipton, who was receiving GUO out of iood, aftei a splendid finish succeeded in winning by 32. Weiss played splendidly throughout, and caught Shipton at 9<>B Tho latter, who played badly in the early stages of the game, improved towards the finish, and made some capital slaAs.
