A deputation from the Wellington Education Board, consisting of Messrs J. R. Blair (chairman) and AY. A. Fitzherbert, with the secretary (Air A. Dorset), interviewed the Minister of Education on Friday on the subject of technical education. The Minister expressed himself very interested in tho work of tho Board, and dosirous of seeing continued progress made in that direction. Tho flagship Orlando is to leave Sydnoyfor New Zealand on tho 14th of May. T ho \\ aliaroo and Ringarooma aro now being overhauled in tho Sydney docks, but they will be ready in time to accompany tho Orlando,
