PALMERSTON.
Nearly two hundred members attended the annual meeting of the M.inawatn and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association on Sat urday from all parte of t he coast as well as from Hawke’s Bay. Tho report showed that the finances were in a nourishing condition, and tho membership close on -MO.
There was a very close contest for tho presidentship, Mr Fied. Pirnni, M.11.R., being elected, and Messrs Mellardy (Hawke’s Bay), Wood (Mayor of Palmerston), Marshall (Marion), and R. Abraham (Palmerston) vice-presidents. A representative committee was elected.
