COURT OF APPEAL.

The half-yearly sitting of the Court of Appeal commenced on Monday before the Chief Justico and Justices Conolly, IV illiams and Denniston. SANITAS COMPANY V. OGLE. Mr Jellicoo, for the appellants, applied for leavo to appeal to tho Privy Council from the judgment of tho Court of Appeal, whereby the Court ordered the appeal to be dismissed. Tho action was originally brought by tho Sanitas Company claiming an injunction to restrain the defendants from infringing their trade mark and trade namo. Tho injunction was refused by Mr Justico Conolly, and his decision was uphold by tho Court of Appeal. Mr Chapman opposed tho application. Tho Court resorved judgment. ANNIE MOORE V. NGARINO IIORIMA AND OTHERS. In this caso Annie Moore, administratrix of tho estate of tho late James Moore, farmer, Kai-iw i, appealed against a decision of the late Judge Richmond. The Trust Commissioner had refused the late Mr Moore a certificate approving of tho lease of 5000 acres of tho Kai-I.vi Block on tho ground that the rental in tho lease was inadequate. His decision was appealed against and Judge Richmond confirmed it, and tho present appeal is against that decision. Mr Edwards, with Mr Marshall, of Wanganui, appeared for tho appellant; Mr Chapman, with Mr Watt, of Wanganui, for some of tho respondents, and Mr Gully for tho remainder. Argument had not concluded when tho Court adjourned until 10.30 next morning.
