St. Batmans, April 28
The Hon J. McKenzie addressed a crowded meeting of his constituents at St. Nathans to-night on various political questions of the day, and gave an outline of tho proposed legislation of next session. The address was very well received, and was frequently applauded. On the motion of Mr Thomas Wilkinson, seconded by Air M. Fahey, a vote of thanks for Mr McKenzie’s address, confidence in him as a representative, and confidence in the Government, was carried unanimously.
