TERRACE CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH

Reference was made to the decease of two elderly members, Airs Fountain ami Miss Woodward, the latter the daughter of the first pastor of the church. The attendance at, the services ami Sunday schools had slightly improved. The Christian lOndeavonr Society was now also on a much sounder basis than it had been. Tim reports in connection with the Social Institute, Band of Hope and badies’ Working Society were of a satisfactory nature. A new building to Reive both the purposes of a Sunday school and a placo’for public worship is about to be erected at Newtown, and in connection with this building Alt- Booth has generously given .£SO. After tho reports, addresses were delivered by the Revs Chappell, AlcNaught, Shiver and Habeas. In the intervals between tho addresses a good programme was gone through, several songs and choruses being well rendered. Mr Rage accompanied at the organ.
