The Adamlcss Eden, in the shape of a farm to be managed entirely by women, is as one may suppose from tho wellknown characteristics of its promoter, Dr Mary Walker, of New York, a very antipetticoat affair, and altogether as masculine as it is possible for a woman’s undertaking to be. According to Home Notes, the settlement is to be at Oswego, and the co-operative lady farmers are to be spinsters, between the ages of 15 and 35 and are to pledge themselves to virginity. Like their foundress, they are to wear as masculine a garb as possible.
