MUNICIPAL ASSOCIATION.
A mooting of the Executive Committee of tho Municipal Association was held on Monday afternoon. Present—The Mayor of Wellington (president), Mr Beswick (Mayor of Christchurch), Councillor Baylis (Mcin.se) and Mr T. F. Martin (secretary), il was decided that the annual conference should be held on a date in July to be lived by the president and secretary. I lie president’s report was considered and ordered to lie printed and circulated among the members of the Association. The Local Government Dill was considered, and its further considers! mu was postponed until the Cunforoneo. Information collected by the secretary from various sources with regard to niunieipsl iire insurance was laid before tim connmitoe, end particulars were directed to be sent to the Mayor of Napier, who is moving in the mailer. The subject of dairy in qieel ion was considered, and ordered to be placed oil the Order Paper of t lie < 'oiib-iviioo.
