LIGHT WEIGHT GOODS.
As a further confirmation of tho articles which liavo appeared in tho New Zealand AJail on tho subject of “Light Weight,” wo have been shown a packet of candles of a foreign brand, which might bo supposed by the confiding householder to weigh lGoz, especially as the words “ Full weight” in large letters appear on the wrapper. Ju reality the package weighs only 14oz, inclusive of a heavy wrapper. This is only one out of many instances of light weight which have been brought under our notice since tho articles appeared, and, like the candles above - mentioned, the goods were of foreign manufacture.
