A NOTABLE LAND SALE.
One of the most important land sales that the picturesque and prosperous town of Wanganui has ever witnessed is due to eventuate on the 4th March next, when Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co. will submit to public auction the valuable property known as the Sedgebrook Estate, formerly owned by that much respected Wanganui settler, the late Major Nixon. The Sedgebrook Estate lies just across the Wanganui town bridge, and includes some splendid building sites for suburban residences and small farms. The property is well known all along the Coast as being of exceptional value, and as it has been cut up into handy-sized sections, it ought to sell well. At the same sale the auctioneer will offer for public competition some Wanganui town sections and a 110acre farm in the Turakina Valley. Plans of all the various properties (advertised in another column of this week’s issue) and all information may be obtained on application to Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co., Wanganui.
