Mes rs Blake and Riggall have instructed counsel to apply fu- the examination of the late directors—Messrs Loader, Lloyd, Williamson, Hotton and Collier —and the Judge made an order for examination before"a Judge of the Insolvency Court. The report of the Bank of Victoria has been adopted. The Chairman stated that it had been decided to release the deferred deposits because they had half a million of money for which they were unable to finrl profitable investment. The release would save an annual payment in interest of =£25,000. The expenses, he added, had been reduced by .£IO,OOO per annum.
