MASONIC.
The annual installation of the Worshipful Master and investiture of officers for the ensuing year for Wellington Lodge, No. 1521, E.C., took place on Friday in the Masonic Hall, Boulcott street. The W.M.elect, Bro. George Allport, was duly installed in the chair of K.S. by the installin<>- masters Bros. A. de B. Brandon, D.D.G.M., and W. M. Jessup, P.M. The following were the officers invested: — I P.M., Bro. William Jessup; S.W., Bro. A. D Riley; J.W., Bro. S. Robinson; Chaplain, Bro. T. Larchin, P.M. ; Treasurer, Bro. W. Cock ; Secretary, Bro. F. Hartmann ; Oro-anist, Bro. W. E. Dasent; S.D., Bro. A R Meek ; J.D., Bro. M. C. Barnett; 1.G., Bro. H. A. Bligh ; Tyler, Bro. Eli Buck. Bro. S. Robinson sang " The Lost Chord " and Bro. Haigh " The Holy City." The services of Bro. William Jessup were acknowledged by the presentation of a very handsome jewel. A first-class banquet was provided for the visitors and members, at which the usual, loyal and Masonic toasts were honoured.
