WELLINGTON WOOLLEN COMPANY.
A meeting of the directors of the Wellington Woollen Manufacturing Company was held on Monday, at which various appointments wore made. Mr Walter Ramsden was appointed acting mill manager, and Mr N. G-. Heelos businoss manager, responsible to the directors as chief of the executive. Several applications wero received for the position of secretary, but as they did not meet with the approval of the board, it was decided not to go outside the present stall. Mr A. E. Donne, accountant to the Company, was elected to bho position, and it was decided that some other person should bo appointed to act with him. It was stated that the Company is making really excellent progress under the now regime, and that everything augurs well for its future success.
