During last month 2083 persons arrived in the Colony, and 2457 departed, leaving a net loss of 374. Auckland furnished the largest proportion of these figures, viz., 1031 arrivals and 1405 departures. The returns for the corresponding* month of last year were 3229 &r----rivals ; departures, 1955 : net gain, 1274.
