TABIFF COMMISSION. IHE Tariff Commissioners wish it notified that as they have to leave Wellington to-morrow for the South Island, and that as a number of applicants to give evidence have not had an opportunity of being heard, the Commission will meet again in Wellington, the date of which due notice will be given in the newspapers. The Commissioners desire to further notifythat merchants, manufacturers, and representatives of trades and industries, and all others interested in the improvement of the Tariff, and who may have suggestions to make or evidence to offer, are invited to appear either individually or by way cf deputation. As the next stay of the Commission at Wellington will be limited to such time as seems justified by the number of applications received, it will greatly facilitate business if applicants desirous of being heard will at once communicate in writing with the undersigned, care of " The Customs Department, Wellington."
