MISSING FRIENDS.

With a view to further increasing the 'ability of the New Zealand Mail, the Editor has decided to introduce a new feature in the shape of a Missing Friends’ column, in which will be published the names of persons for whom their friends are enquiring in the Home weeklies. Enquiries from - persons in New Zealand and in the Australian Colonies for information ©f missing friends will be inserted in this column at the rate of Is for each insertion. Replies will be forwarded to the Editors, of Lloyd’s and other papers if desired. All correspondence for this column should b addressed

From Reynolds’ Newspaper. BODEN. — News wanted of Samuel Boden. Last heard of in Auckland, New Zealand, nineteen years ago. His brother, Isaac Boden, care of editor, Reynolds’s Newspaper, inquires. HADWEN or HADWIN. —Wanted information of any of the above-named family, who lived for many years in some part of Lancashire about 1830. Some went to different parts of England, and some to tho colonies. R. Hadwen, care of editor, Reynolds’ Newspaper, would be glad to hear from any of them now alive. HASTIE (MRS EMMA) about 30 years since was addressed : —“ Care of Mr Marshall, chemist, George street, Dunedin, New Zealand.” Her niece, E. Perrin, would be glad of news. (Sister Louisa dead). JEWISS JOHN, and HENRY) are anxiously enquired for by their parents. John left Plumstead about 1874 for New Zealand, and obtained a situation as coachman there. Henry joined his brother a few years after and worked at steam brick making. When he last wrote Lome, 10 years since, he gave his address as Post Office, Sydpey, N.S.W. JOHNSON. —Wanted the present address of Miss Sarah Head Johnson, who lived in Battersea Fields, near Battersea Park, in 1870. ROWLEY.—News? wanted of John Capper Rowley, native of Lichfield, house painter and plumber, who left Pleasant street, Burslern, in 1871/,, Was heard of five or six years ago ; then in Sydney, N.S.W.
