Captain Allman, Nautical Adviser to tho Government, and Mr Hay, C.E., of the Public Works Department, left for Cape Palliser by the Hinemoa this week to fix the site for the proposed lighthouse. As soon as their report has been received, the order for the requisite material will be made out and sent Home.
