In giving my impressions for .the Boxing Day meetings, and others, I am placed at some disadvantage, as a number of horses are engaged in several events, and of course will not compete in all races they have accepted for, so that in many- cases l wiil have to mention more than one-horse as likely to furnish the winner. However, I will have a final word in Monday’s New ’ Zealand Times. Krina has been scratched for the Wellington Cup. A resident of Wellington, ter race, who drew Premier, the third horse in the Queensland Cup, received word by yesterday’s mail that the sweep ■ had fully filled, and that he had won <£1125 net. The investor held four five-shilling tickets, and the last of the four proved to be the lucky number. 1 The prize is shared by ~ two people. / • •
