The Government have made the Mokohinui Coal Company an offer for their railway line in terms of the report furnished by the Engineer-in-Chief and Mr C. Napier Bell, who were appointed to enquire as to the value of the railway property.
It has been decided to offer a bonus for the manufacture of cyanide of potassium within the Colony. The conditions will be drawn up by the Department ef Industries and Commerce.
