MASONIC.
NEW ZEALAND PACIFIC LODGE.
The annual meeting of New Zealand Pacific Lodge, No. 2, was held in the Freemasons’ Hall on Monday. There was a large attendance of members and visitors from the sister lodges and other constitutions. Bro. F. Meadowcroft, P.G.S.W., Victorian Constitution, was admitted andduly honoured. The Grand Lodge officers, including the M.W.G.M. (Bro. H. D. Bell), were received with Grand Lodge honours. Bro. W. D. Lyon, P.M., aoted as Installing Master, assisted by Bro. H. Wetherilt, P.M., and Bro. J. A. Heginbotham, P.M., who performed the duties of Directors of Ceremonies. Bro. Herbert Baillie was installed as Worshipful Master, and Bro. Lachman was invested as I.P.M. There were 30 Installed Masters present at the Board.
The following officers were invested for the ensuing yearS.W., Bro. Rev. J. Dumbell; J.W., Bro. J. Mackay; Chaplain, Bro. T. W. McKenzie, P.M.; Treasurer, Bro. W. D. Lyon, P.M.; Secretary, Bro. J. C. Mowbray; S.D., Bro. F. W. Weston j J.D., Bro. J. Kellow; Director of Ceremonies, Bro. 11. Wetherilt, P.M.; Organist, Bro. Herr Nor berg; 1.G., Bro. G. Crichton ; S.S., Bro. T. W. Hall; J.S., Bro. J. F. Kuch; Tyler, Bro. H. Erith. The W.M., Bro. Baillie, on behalf of the members of N.Z. Pacific Lodge, invested Bro. J. A. Heginbotham, P.M., with a PastMaster’s apron as a token of esteem. The M.W.G.M. presented P.D.G.M. Bro H. J. Williams with his commission as representative of the Grand Lodge of Tr s« mania, who had appointed him Past Grand Warden.
Bro. Lachman was also presented with his Past Master’s certificate.
