The growth of the juvenile population of Stratford is assuming very large proportions. There are over 300 children on the roll of the Stratford State School. The architect of the local Education Board has been authorised to prepare plans for the erection of an infant school, large enough to hold 150 children. The painting of the Forth Bridge, which is certainly no light undertaking, is again in progress. It is said that about 200 trains pass over the bridge every 24 hours.
