THE FRENCH PRESIDENCY.
Paris, June 27. At a trial ballot of Republican Senators Casimir-Perier received 114 votes for the Presidency, Dupuy 15 and Brisson 6. A similar meeting of .Democratic Senators terminated in gross disorder amid cries of *' Vive Perier." Two members resorted to blows.
