A quantity of valuable furniture owned by Mr Gr. 11. Chapman was stored in the cottage near McNab's which was destroyed by fire on Saturday evening. The furniture was insured for £2(H) in the Alliance Company. Tho building was insured for .£75, and Mrs McNab's furniture fOl .£25 in the'Commercial Union.
