RACING IN AUSTRALIA.
A.J.C. WINTER MEETING. Sydney, June 9. At the A. J. C. Winter Meeting, tho Steeplechase was won by Ontario, Sneaker running second and Castlebar third. Nino horses started, including the New Zealandera Waterbury and Mutiny. Both tho Now Zealanders fenced beautifully for tho greater part of the journey, and Mutiny had secured a lead of over one hundred yards on entering tho last round, when he came down. Waterbury met a similar fate a little Liter on. Time, 7min 13sec. In the Winter Stakes Pilot Boy won easily, Oxido being second, and Albecoro third. Seventeen started. Time, 2min lOsec.
