THE ALERT FLOATED OFF.
Tho schooner Alert, which went ashore in Lyell Bay during tho heavy south-west-erly gale at the end of last month, was successfully floated off about 9 o'clock on Saturday night. Two anchors were run out, and the vessel was warped off. A few hours later the Mana went out to the hay, and towed tho Alert to the Wool Jetty, where she is now berthed. Captain Keys informs us that the schooner is not injured in any way.
