Rio de Janiero, April 18. Admiral do Mello, at tho head of twelve hundred men, has surrendered in the Argentine Republic. An explosion occurred on tho President's gunboat Cabidcllo, when tho vessel was off Belem, and 15 of those on board wore killed.

Rio de Janeiro, April 19. News has boon received that tho Gustavo, not knowing that tho Aquidaban had surrendered, fired a torpedo at her off Desterra, on tho southern coast of Brazil.

The rebel flagship was sunk, and many of those on board drownod.

Capetown, April 20. A native outbreak is feared in tho Transvaal.

A band of Namaquas massacred 70 Bechuanas and also a family of Boer trekers in Kalalian desert, and this is expected to load up to sorious troublo among tho natives. Capetown, April 20.
