THE ANARCHISTS.
Paris, November 30. A hoard of apparatus for infernal machines has been discovered at Marseilles in a secret tunnel under the street from a workshop. The owner, an Anarchist, declared that he was asked to hide the parcel by two other Anarchists. All have been arrested. Paris, December 1. A number joi Anarchists in escaping arrest in the city, stabbed a detective to death. Paris, December 5. In the Chamber of Deputies, a Bill to proclaim a general amnesty to suspected Anarchists was thrown out by a majority of 31 votes, the Government opposing the measure.:- •
Shortly before the division was taken, a scene for which the Boulangists were responsible occurred in the Chamber. Madrid, December 2. The police in Valladolid, the capital of the province of the same name in Old Castile, have arrested an Anarchist leader named Alonso, and seized a list of the names of the authors of the Barcelona and I other explosions.
