THE PEER AND THE TAILOR.
London, November 29. The Marquis of Donegal, being unable to pay his tailor’s account, claimed exemption on the ground that he was a peer. The tailor sued for the amount, and Mr Justice Lumley Smith, who heard the case, committed the Marquis to Holloway Prison for 12 days, but suspended the issue of the warrant for two months.
