FLOODS IN THE PELORUS VALLEY.
(by TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Havelock. June 21. _ AH the creeks in the Pelorus Valley are in high flood. The Pelorus River is bank high. Several telegraph pole 3 are down between Havelock and Canvastown, and there are many landslips. Wheel traffic is impeded. The Nelson mail coach, due yesterday at 2.30 p.m., had not arrived at 10 a.m. to-day. Later. The mail coach arrived at 2 50 p.m. to-day from Nelson. It remained at Oliver’s last night. There was no accident, but the rivers were in heavy flood.
