AN IMPORTANT MINING QUESTION.
(press association.) Dunedin, December 4. In Chambers to-day there w’as a long technical argument on an important mining question, namely, whether liquidators could make a call upon contributaries to equalise the payments of fully paid up and contributing shares. Mr Justice Williams upheld the contention that a call could not be made for the purpose proposed.
