THE AUCKLAND CATTLE BOARD.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, December 4. The North Auckland Cattle Board met to-day to consider whether any action should be taken in view of the fact that three horses were on board the Monowai, then due from Sydney, as the Monowai is the vessel which brought from America Sells’ circus, amongst the horses of which glanders have appeared. The horses, however, are not to bo landed here. A circus, including ten horses, is on board the steamer Wainui, to arrive from Samoa, and the Board decided to telegraph to the Chief Inspector of Stook asking that the horses be allowed to land if they are free from iufectious disease, as. Samoa is not amongst the places from which horses may be brought to New Zealand.
