The barque Glenlora, one of the. Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company’s fleet, arrived off the Heads on Wednesday from London, via Port Chalmers. The barque is in command of Captain Nicolo, latterly chief officer of the ship Westland, The Glenlora left Urlasgow on December 26, and arrived at Port Chalmers after a smart passage of 83 days. Light and variable weather was experienced to the Equator, which was crossed on January 15th. Sighted Gough Island on February Bth, and crossed the Meridian of Greenwich on February 11th in lat 44deg 40min S. The first the westerlies then set in, and she rounded the Cape of Good Hope on the 14th. Sighted Prince Edward Island on February 21, passed the Meridian of Cape Leuwin on March Bth in lat. 48deg 40min S. and Tasmania on March 15th. Sighted the Snares on the evening of the 18th, when a heavy N.W. gale set in, lasting for 12 hours, when it suddenly shifted to the S.W., blowing fresh until passing the Nuggets on the evening af the 19th. She ran her easting down between the parallels of 48deg 20min to 48deg 50imn S. The Glenlora loads here for Loudon.
