Anglo-Australian writes in a recent issue of The European Mail :— ‘ To many among us who are endowed with the good things of this world, the question of winter fruits is a pressing one. In connection with this I am pleased to note that some newly-imported Australian oi’anges have met with much favour from good judges of that fruit ; and that special Australian product, the dark purple passion fruit, would hve a gaod opportunity of commanding a sale at a good price, if only some enterprising colonists were to “ organise ” a dispatch of it in moderate quantities, to put on the market here during January and February.’
