THE S.S. WANAKA ASHORE.
ALL HANDS SAFE. The TJ.S.S. Co. liave received a telegram stating that the S.S. Wanaka struck on a reef six miles north of New Plymouth, at 4 this morning. Site was making no water, and the sea . was smooth. A steamer has gone to her assistance, and there is q, chance of her getting off the reef about mid-day. The passengers were safely landed.
