FACTS THAT CAN’T BE DISPUTED.

Startling and Reliable Evidence. To counteract the enervating, relaxing, and evil effects and depressing nature of the climate in this country during the summer months, no remedy has ever appeared before the public to equal, or even that would bear comparison, with Clements Tonic. It prevents fever, malaria and ague, keeps up the appetite, assists digestion and assimilation, stimulates the stomach, liver kidneya and bowels ; fchns preventing liver and kidney disease, and warding off their unpleasant symptoms, as headache, constipation, piles, gout, rheumatism, dropsy, apoplexy, &c. The summer is the time when Clements Tonic is the medicine par excellence for the people. It prevents the relaxation and depression so prevalent in the hot weather in these latitudes ; it enriches the blood, aids perspiration, and restores all lost nerve power ; is the most reliable actifebrifuge, and pick-me-up prepared in the world, and can be depended upon to do good and cure disease. The action of Clements Tonic is certain, sure and prompt ; relief is felt immediately after taking the first dose ; it acts direct on the seat of disease and cares the causes, and then the effects of that cause cease. Most other remedies offered are prepared with a view of treating the symptoms, consequently, as soon as the effect of the medicine passes away the trouble returns and the patient wants another bottle of medicine. Clements Tonio positively effectually, and permanently cures ; it does not only relieve, like most of the narcotic mixtures sold, but radically effects a cure; and if the patieit only avoids the source from which he or she contracted the illness in the ‘first place a relapse is impossible. Moreover Clements Tonic does not constrlnge the oastric vessels of the stomach or cause indigestion, and will not injure nor decolour the teßth. We are continually receiving new evidence from the patrons of this wonderful remedy, gratifying praise and eulogy arriving daily from the most influential gentlemen in the colony. For instance : —Thomas Garrett Esq., M.P., writes: I have taken Clements Tonic with very great advantage. It is very stimulating, and a great aid to appetite and digestion.’ John Plummer, Esq., says : « M ra Plummer has frequently derived great benefit from the use of Clements Tonic, and can confidently recommend its use to all sufferers.’ P. Jefferson Wallace, Esq., the veteran journalist, says that ‘ after taking one 4s Gd bottle he found his appetite much improved, ho could sleep more Boundly, and felt refreshed next morning ; after taking six large bottles his health Was fully restored, and he can confidently recommend Clement s Tonio to all sufferers from nervous exhaustion worry, or the effects of excessive mental labour.’ W. D.
