We notice in a copy of The Times received by the last English mail, that Mr W. Leopold Bnller, son of Sir Walter Buller.had passed his final examination as a barrister, at-law. Both he and his brother, Mr Percy Bailer, have now been called to the Bar at the Inner Temple, and are, we believe, on their way out to .New Zealand. We understand that they intend to practioe their profession in this hity. Their father’s long connection with Wellington should stand them in good stead. The "United Hunt” hold their first ** meet ” at Kilbirnie on Saturday next, at 3 p.m. A splendid run has been laid on Mr Crawford’s Mirama property, where the hounds will throw off at 3.30. The run extends over five miles of country, and there are from 35 to 40 post and rail and other jumps, and a good view of the coarse will be obtainable for pedestrians from the top of Windmill Hill, whence the run can be viewed from beginning to end.
