A CYCLONE IN SOUTHLAND.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Inneicahgill, March 23. A brief storm of a cyclone character occurred at Athol on Sunday night. The iron roof of a large stable was stripped in ribbons, and the woodwork blown five chains away.. lhe residents had to prop their houses against the hurricane. Stack tops were whirled away, although wired down. Harvesting has been, brought to a standstill by the rough weather. Heavy hail and rain showers have beerr experienced.
