Athletics.
The following acceptances have been received for the events to be run at the Druid’s sports next Monday : Easter Handicap (four distances), 30 ; Mile Handicap, 16 ; 220yds Hurdles, 10 ; 150yds Handicap, 21. The annual gathering of the Old Boys of the Wanganui Collegiate School will be held at Wanganui on Easter Monday. On that day the annual sports of the school will take place, and the Challenge Cup, presented by the “Old Boys,” will be competed for. In the evening the annual dinner will be held, and it is expected a large gathering will be present. The local branch of the Old Boys’ Association be represented by 25 of the members, ‘ who left for Wanganui by the 6.30 train on Good Friday morning.
