Notices will be sent out at once to the various School Committees in the Wellington district by the Secretary of the Ednoa* tion Board, requesting them to nominate a candidate to fill the vacancy on the Board, caused by the death of the late Mr Henry Bunny. The nominations are to be made before the 27th inat, and as soon as they have been reooived the Chairman of the Board will forward a list of the candidates to each committee, who will then select one of the candidates. A mooting of the Board will be held on the 17th May, at which the voting papers will be opened, and the candidate who has secured the greatest number of votes will be declared duly elected.
