The Wairarapa Daily, of Friday, says : A preliminary survey ia to be made by the County engineer with a view to obtaining information 's to the possibility of procuring a high pressure supply of water from the Waingawa for domestic purposes. Should the result of this survey be favourable, a publio meeting of residents will be called and efforts made to raise a loan with which to undertake the work.
