The robel leaders have made overtures for peace. Valparaiso, March 16. The Government troops have sustained further defeats. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Valparaiso, March 14. The whole of tho army, except the Santiago troops, have joined the rebels. President Balmaceda shot 50 prisoners because the rebels shot a leading Government supporter. During the bombardment of Coronel 200 persons were killed.
