(per pubs* a^ooiasion.) CjREJfjTOHURQU, November 20. The aalp p£ the Midland Railway Com* pacys land resulted in 41,817 acres being : sold 'for £52,532 4s. The prices ranged for ’ larger blooks from 13s to £2 per acre, small blooks to £3 10s. Fifty-nine lots out of 85 lota were sold. The unsold lots comprise 32,204 acres, expected to realise at the upßet price £25,000. The present occupiers of tho runs, of which the land sold forms part, were purchasers in most cases.
