Questions That Occur to Her.

Take it for all in all, the pleasantness of a week on the ocean depends very much on yourself. With a proper preparation of pills beforehand, a prescription from your doctor and a little care as to what you eat, the nor mal woman ought to keep well, bat it isn’t the normal or special, it is the general woman who goes to sea, and these are some of her complaints : She wants to know why they cook any. thing on board, the smell makes her sick. She wants to know why the captain can’t stop the ship for a day or two, for none of the passengers would mind being a little late, to oblige a lady ? She wants to know why the ship’s Burgeon can’t be with her all the time, for she knows there is nobody on board who needs him so much? She wants to know why she can’t get clam juice and fresh oysters ? She wants to know why people who feel well have the heart to enjoy themselves ? She wants to know what in the world peop’e go to sea for, anyhow ? She’s had enough of it, anyhow. She wants to know why she didn’t think to bring three or four pillows with her, and B he also wants to know why anybody told her yon could not buy shoes on the other Sl de, and she has none to wear except new ones 1 She wants to know why she was ever born, and this is what everybody else wants to know, for there seems no reason in the world for her existence.
